  • i dont know what recipe she followed for this but i worked for shake shack as well and they called it a shack burger, never had pickles on them. the traditional burger i've seen and have made is a martin's potato roll, a super smashed burger using a special device to flatten them out (the burger patties are also supposed to be thinner too so the edges crisp up), shack sauce goes on the top of the bun followed by two pieces of tomato and a piece of lettuce. Burger and cheese is on the bottom bun (american cheese melted on top obvi). that was the recipe from this past summer, dont know if it was the same at the original but watching this made me cry because you burned the buns and it wasnt assembled correctly. going to cry now.
