  • Someone tell Clair I have a crush on her @ngc_4404 :)

  • I only click BA videos if claire is in them. Shes my wce

  • Love the recipe and content, but BA PLEASE add metric measurements to your recipe pages and maybe annotations in videos. You have an audience outside of the US that doesn't use ounces or Fahrenheit (I'm from Australia).

    • Agree! I can't even explain how frustrating it is to be told to use '1 stick' of butter instead of a certain amount of grams

  • Why is Claire so beautiful?

  • Can Claire make gourmet (tasty) sprinkles? They’re so fun but so gross tasting! Please please please

  • I am just stuck thinking about the strong smell of coconut oil.

  • Ur so sexy where u at

  • This cake is great although I did cut out some ingredients. Didnt use coconut oil at all in the cake. Used almond flour and I 'toasted it' in a sheet pan (1 and 1/4 cup). Mixed that with salt/cocunut shred. 1/2 cup of cocoa with just enough hot water to paste instead of all the chocolate chips. 4 eggs seperated, foamed egg whites till soft peaks with half a cup of white sugar. Half brown mixed with yolks. Mixed yolks with flour first with the chocolate then folded in egg whites. Threw some dark chocolate chips in there. Thats it baked for 35 mins. The ganache heated 1/4 coconut oil with 1/4 almond milk with 1 table maple. Spilled it on 1/2 cup dark choc ships (sprinkled some salt). This stays syrupy..nice for rippling on cake. Main reason for all this?. Too much fat gerds me badly :(. Besides clean up is so easy lol.

  • Are those degrees in farenheit or celsius?

  • 'cake tester' uh la la

  • nice! this recipe is a winner thanks Claire!!!

  • I was excited for this recipe but she lost me at dairy and gluten free 😒

  • Why you don’t put weight and measurements in grams??

  • Tell me why i knew she was a jew

  • This seems so rushed. Let her chill and do her thang :)

  • That music is sooo annoying

  • A beautiful recipe from a beautiful person. You go, Claire!

  • Kosher salt???

  • Gluten free etc. Yes, yes - inclusion in everything and for everyone. I am glad, that we still tell people to go to hell if they ask for any of this nonsense.

  • So how much is a cup in US cuisine, I heard it varies. What would a cup be here?

  • This is the daughter in law every mother dreams of.

  • Make your own pop tarts

  • Does dark chocolate not have dairy in it

  • Hot lady makes desert! yep 11k likes

  • I was distracted by Andy's butt.

  • is this keto friendly?

  • Oh man, for a second I got excited and thought this was going go be a vegan cake. But then she added the eggs :(

  • Pretty sure chocolate contains dairy. Unless she's using dairy free, hut she didn't specify

  • I have a cousin who's allergic to soy, dairy and gluten. I think I'll try making something like this for him.

  • love the claire videos

  • My boo

  • So happy to find a gluten free recipe on the BA BR-tv channel! Thank you!

  • This may be a silly question, but could you substitute almond flour instead of the roasted almonds that you grind up? Or do you need the oils from the roasted almonds to help bind the batter?

  • Oh my days! Claire is beautiful! 😍

  • Cant get enough of claire and brad.

  • Ephesians 2:8 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. Are you ready to be saved? Are you afraid to die? You don't want to burn in hell? Salvation is a free gift, all you have to do is repent of your sins, and put your faith in Christ. He died on the cross to save you my friend, ask Him with a sincere heart to forgive you, and to save you today, and by faith in God, He will save you.

  • Is Claire Jewish?

    • +ArgentAbendAzure that's cool! Thanks for explaining :)

    • She is.She has heritage from the eastern European Ashkenazi Jews ( the name Saffitz is probably from Russia). Her family must be reform.Because she doesn't follow the Kosher food laws. She has made pork products on several occasions. But they would still celebrate Jewish holidays.

  • What would happen if you beat the eggs to a meringue consistency and then added in everything else?

  • I sooo want to make a cake now. Thank you Claire! Love you to bits.

  • Do u think u could use chick pea juice instead of the eggs 🤔

  • Claire is the best, I dont even cook, but I still love watching her :D

  • She said it was vegan but used eggs?

    • nah just said dairy-free and gluten-free

  • In the old episodes, the music is sooooo distracting!!! Just let me hear Claire. How dare you take away from what she has to say!

  • If you wanted to, you could separate the egg whites and beat them first, so that they could have even more air into the cake.

  • Almond flour is pretty awesome.

  • I'm so obsessed with Claire! Claire and Brad are my favorites and i've just been binging their videos since last night.

  • Can I lick the spoon please?

  • but claire, this will postpone my long awaited diabetes

    • btw, the grey lock looks dope

  • No dairy... has eggs... OOF

  • I hated it when u said dairy and gluten free

  • I see claire, I click

  • I watch this channel all the time even though I can't eat most of what's baked here due to food allergies. The fact that this is one I actually COULD eat has kind of made my day :D

  • “And just to ensure that there is no sticking, Ill just dust the bottom of the pan with a little bit of coco [powder].” -Claire, 0:53

  • Claire really knows her stuff. I really love that she explains the technical side of cooking/baking.

  • Is there a way to use honey (or another natural sweetener) in the batter instead of sugar without messing up the consistency?

  • shredded coconut is disgusting

  • Can u use cashew nuts instead of the almonds? Almonds are expensive than cashew on this side of the globe.

  • Was excited that it was dairy free up until the eggs. Not sure the flax seed substitute would work in this case?

  • I keep looking for Claire videos. . . I wish they were ALL Claire videos. . .

  • I love the look of that cake and wish it was here with me.

  • "...has no flour". Proceeds to make almond flour and coconut flour to put in the cake. Just say no wheat flour😂

  • Could you make it egg free?

  • do SCHOOL-SAFE series

  • Why is she soo sexy? Goodness.

  • I don't understand the concept of calling yourself vegan n dairy free n all that n then putting eggs in it..whts the sense?

  • Aww but it's not really dairy free... a true dairy free item has no milk or eggs...

    • They technically are dairy, but it's also got chocolate and chocolate is dairy so it's not really lactose free anyway which is what she meant by dairy free

    • Sarah M eggs aren’t dairy ?

  • I would convert for Claire.

  • This does look delicious but my taste buds are never wholly satisfied with gluten-free foods. I've even chucked things, unfortunately, because I've found the taste dissatisfying and I hate wasting like that. I'm much more likely to just nibble slowly on things I dislike than to throw them out but me and non-gluten things don't always get along. Anyone know what the measurements would be if you made this with the things that were substituted out?

    • Haley Cobb Good idea, thanks!

    • Fluffymiyster this sort of cake, unlike many others, doesnt rely so much on the flour (in my experience). many egg based cakes dont and they usually satisfy despite that. i have a few gluten sensitive friends, and when a dish isnt trying too desperately to be something else (something with gelatine, almond flour, and oil trying to be something with egg, wheat flour, and butter) it tends to taste like a whole dish instead of an immitation. saying that, you could probably look up almond flour to normal flour guides online and try that sorta thing out in a small batch!

  • So Claire is Jewish, then?

  • Can you be my mum

  • I still dont know what KOSHER salt is.... Anyone?

    • Part of the process of making meat kosher involves, after being killed according to traditional methods, salting the meat to extract blood. This is the kind of salt generally used in the process. All salt is equally kosher.

  • That cake looks good but u know what I really want to eat

  • YES. A CAKE I CAN MAKE FOR ALL MY FRIENDS. (one is allergic to milk, another one to cashews, which many non dairy and non gluten cakes got, and another one can't eat gluten)

    • Or you just need another set of friends

    • I know this is late, but you're also able to substitute the almonds or coconut for an equal serving of the other, in case someone may be allergic to either of those as well. :)

  • dairy free with chocolate?

    • Maya Ehly chocolate doesn't necessarily have milk in it. In fact good chocolate doesn't.

  • God, is there no reprieve from the aquiline beast?!?! 😖

  • Always appreciate a spectacular gluten-free recipe.

  • Can I use cashews instead of almonds? Because I am allergic to almonds.

  • She has an interesting hair accessory and pendant.

  • Something gluten free! This means others with celiac disease can eat it too

  • Don’t want to fuss with it too much as you continue to fuss with it

  • Feel like that would smell foul. Chocolate and 6 eggs bleh

  • I want to taste it so bad that my heart is beating faster

  • I didn't know you were Jewish, so much I don't know about you. We need to talk more

  • I need to make this with the blood of my enemies

  • What could you take to replace the eggs? And do it with different nuts, or does it only work with almonds?

  • Sorry Claire this is a coconut cake not a chocolate cake. I'll just have to substitute for all that disgusting coconut. I like the overall idea though.

  • Why did I find this after the last day of passover?

  • you're missing one ingredient, pot.

  • To all my friends who keep kosher: I used to work on a bakery that made kosher pastries and cakes and I was always led to believe that eggs were considered dairy.. So is it not?? I'm a bit bit confused now lol

    • Eggs are fine, unless the chick already began to form (in which case there's an issue of eating blood). Eggs are not considered dairy, I can't understand how they could be.

    • Dairy is just a fancy word for milk products, so of course eggs can't be milk products. Whether there's something un-kosher about eggs, that I don't know, but that's a different question.

  • Doesn’t dark chocolate have dairy?

    • Dairy milk isn't an ingredient in dark chocolate but the nutrition label will say it may contain milk. That's because the same equipment was used to make milk chocolate, so it might have traces of dairy.

    • It shouldn't contain any milk if it's dark chocolate. Just cocoa products (cocoa mass, cocoa butter, cocoa powder), a bit of sugar, and maybe some vanilla or something like that. But you can check the label on the chocolate you buy.

  • I remember the first time i wanted to melt chocolate and cried when it burned lol

  • *Cocoated.

  • healthier. right?

  • I dont do Passover... but yumm

  • “There’s really no art to this” ****CREATES MASTERPIECE****

  • what amount of butter should i use in the cake instead of coconut oil ? i dont like coconut oil

  • Would this be good with white chocolate?
